HOW TO GIVE GUIDES

NOTE: If you have never given with our online portal or Text to Give, you will first need to create a profile. Donors are prompted to visit a secure URL to register and provide credit or debit card information.  Once completed, the donation can be processed.

Accessing the Giving Portal as a Donor

  • If you are giving as a Guest, make sure you are under the Give Now Tab

  • Select a fund from the Choose a Fund drop down box.

  • Enter the amount, after clicking submit, the payment options will appear along with the option to make their gift recurring (link).

  • Recurring giving does require that an account be created in order to store card information for future processing

Text to Give

​

  • Text GIVE to 314-463-4142

  • Select Sign In.

  • Choose your preferred sign in method Text.

  • Complete the required fields.

  • Once completed, you can simply text the amount you intend to give + the fund you are giving to. For example, 100 tithes if you are giving tithes, if you don’t state what fund you are giving to, the amount you give will go to the church’s default fund.

  • If you text Keyword, you will receive a reply text including a list of the fund names available for donations.

ShelbyNext Giving App

​

  • Install the ShelbyNext | Giving app on your mobile device from the Apple or Android App Store.  To locate the app, Search ShelbyNext and choose “ShelbyNext | Giving”.

  • Open the app and Search on the Organization Name and/or Zip Code to locate your organization.

  • Choose your organization from the Search Results.

  • If you are a new user, choose “Create an Account” and complete the information form.  Otherwise, sign-in using your existing email and password.
